Guys,

Last week we talked about Cletus S. Wortorson and there were mixed reviews of the comrade. This week i have decided to throw out the name of Former Police Director in the IGNU led Governnment Mr. J. Brownie Samukai. Mr. Samukai has an MBA in Economics and he is a trained US military Liberian exchange soldier. Mr. Samukai is a family man and he is very eloquent on the topical issues facing Liberia. Mr. Samukai is presently serving as Defense Minister in Ma Ellen's administration.

Mr. Samukai brings to the Office of the Presidency wide range of international and national managerial experiences. Let hear what u have to say about the comrade as we suggest his name for leadership in Liberia in 2011............

By gender? i'll say no but i look for the qualification and one that possess the capability and has experience in similar roles. gender can come after those

politics on women's rights would be a primary consideration for any candidate. it is not just 'gender'. a woman is not automatically a feminist. see ma ellen for example.

So in fact, the primary consideration for you (and I would assume most progressive thinking folks) would be how a candidate views women's rights.

The issue of women's right is central to KR and it is genuine that her concern be addressed and i think considering the type of man Samukai is, he will do his utmost in supporting legislation that will address women issues.
