Atlanta GA 08/23/10: The 5th Annual Reunion will like to inform the general public that the New Kru Town Association in the Americas (NEKTAA) has restored the years that the locusts have eaten at the end of its Reunion that was held in the state of Maryland between August 20th to the 22nd of 2010 .
The conferees at the 5th Annual Reunion after careful deliberation, voted for the following officials and members of the Board of Director of the Association. Those elected to the five member’s board replacing the K. Advertus Karpeh’s board and members were Y. Wloti Hne – Chairman, J. Gbesie Nimely – Cochairman, Joseph Wleabo Walker – Secretary, Lawrence G. Sayeh – member, and Orlando Krangar –member.
The Chairman elect of the Board in his acceptance speech also informed members of the association that his Board will work with the Executive Committee of NEKTAA in uplifting the dream and aspiration of the Association. Meanwhile, The President of NEKTAA Emmanuel Togba launched the New Kru Town Development Initiative (NKTDI). He said that he hoped that the Initiative will raise the amount of $500,000 in five years. He also appointed Mr. Terrance Krangar to serve as Chairman of the Initiative.
The officials of the New Kru Town Association in the Americas will like to extend thanks and appreciation to all members and friends who made this year Reunion a success. The 6th Annual Reunion will be held in the City of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on a date to be announced.
