Y. Wloti Hne: The next Karl Rove of Liberian Politics
Y. Wloti Hne is popularly known as the Karl Rove of Liberian politics in Philadelphia, Pa. Mr. Hne, a onetime UPP stalwart is now a senior strategist of the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC)-USA. He spent most of his early years growing up in the Borough of New kru Town and organizing grassroots activities for change for a better Liberia. Comrade Hne before traveling to the United State of America was a student of public administration at the University of Liberia. He is a product of Medgar Ever College, City University with a bachelor degree in Public administration. He is presently pursuing an MPA at LaSalle University, Philadelphia, Pa. Due to the effort of Comrade Hne, we now have the National Civil Servant Association in Liberia, a group he organized while serving as a civil servant at the Ministry of Labor.
Wloti served as Assistant Minister of Labor for administration and Executive officer of the Liberian Football Association (LFA) while in Liberia. As the 2011 election draws near in Liberia pundits and political calculators are congratulating George Weah CDC for having Wloti Hne in his corner. Wloti Hne as the next Karl Rove, successfully planned and won successive community elections in Philly. The last one was the election of Shiwoh Kamara, the current LAP President. Most people in Philly credited him with the way he managed and organized the Shiwoh’s victory in Philly. Now a lot of political analysts are hoping that he brings to the CDC camp the skills and electioneering strategies to the CDC to make them victorious in the 2011 election in Liberia.
