| Thanks yah Candy. The other people think that cassava leaf is pure poison. So i think it's safe to say we have our own Liberian food. (oh and my fav is Palm Butter with new red country rice) - candygirl wrote:

| I love fufu and peppay soup with okra on the side. I like my soup to have fish, crab, shrimp, dry fish, dry crawfish, boney, chicken feet, hard chicken, once in a while tripe, and sometimes oxtails. I like to put extra pepper inside my soup, my favorite is the scotch bonnet pepper( the small red, yellow, orange or green ones). In other words, I like my fufu and soup Bassa style! My maternal grandmother is Bassa, so she spoil me!
Other favorites include: Palava sauce and fufu or rice Casava leaf and rice Okra sauce and rice Check rice and Gravy
Liberians foods I don't commonly eat are: Torborgee Split peas Peanut soup I haven't eaten bitter balls and rice in a while haven't eaten eggplant and rice in a while haven't eatin cabbage and rice in years! | |
