| "Support Needed to Bolster Liberia's Police Force", UNMIL Loj Monrovia, Liberia – UN Envoy Ellen Margrethe Løj has commended the Norwegian Government for recognizing that the recovery and development of Liberia’s rule of law institutions “requires an additional bolster to both human and financial resources”. Ms. Loj was speaking at a ceremony in Monrovia to honor the Norwegian contingent of the UN Mission in Liberia (UNMIL). The Special Representative of the Secretary-General (SRSG) stated that “Norway had provided over US$1.5 million in 2006 and 2007 for the construction of 10 LNP County Headquarters buildings, all with women and children protection facilities attached”.
