Why only entertainment related awards? Dah only entertainment people lor proomote and maintain positive image for Liberians? What about an award for scientific research?? I know a village member who deserves that award!

Lucky Bucky as I heard and other HIPCO artists are making a feature on the arrival of HIPCo in Liberia. It will be previewed at the awards.
Laurence Bropleh and several artists will be travelling to the US for the show. Lucky Bucky will not be in that group unfortunately, as he is a recent deportee, and his status is not currently known.

So I guess this show is primarily about entertainers??? I am planning on giong and taking my kids but I won't be taking them if the only people being featured/awarded are entertainers. Can we recogtnize some Liberian folks for accomplishments in business, science, etc???? We are more than music and some nice dance moves. I'll say again, I know of no other Liberian who has made the kind of strids in science as our our own resident scientific scholar Queen R!

The show will be recognizing several Liberian intellectuals and others in the academic arena. I understand that there will be several professors and others.
The guy who did the research for nominations said that he was surprised at the wealth of Liberian talent in all areas spread out in the Diaspora.
