My dear Liberians in the Diaspora,

Few days from now we will be going to the poll to elect a new corps of officers who will shape the direction of the Union of Liberians Association (ULAA) in the US. For those of us who want to shape the Union in the direction of positivity, unity and openness, we should consider the team Zawolo and Payne-Gbessagee.

For the past years the Union has been silence on the critical issues facing Liberians here and back home. We have seen past leaders of ULAA seeking jobs in Monrovia and neglecting the wishes and aspiration of the their constituency. ULAA deserves better and it is time to elect a team who have the leadership and guts to champion the just causes for Liberians. We need to elect visionary leaders who have the knowledge and skill to engage Washington DC on the pressing issues like immigration and social services.

As we converge on Burtonsville,Maryland, the team that can do the above is Prof. Isaac Zawolo and Slyvestine Payne-Gbessagee. They have the will power to listen to a cross section of ULAAINs and take ULAA to the next level.

Vote Team Zawolo and Payne-Gbessagee for a ULAA that will be vibrant and open.

Together we can all make a difference by supporting Team Zawolo and Payne-Gbessagee.

Signed:

Isaac T. Settro, Jr.
