Walter James Weah Elected Chairman SILCA Board of Directors

The newly- elected Board of Directors of the Staten Island Liberian Community Association, Inc. (SILCA) yesterday elected Mr. Walters James Weah as its Chairman. Weah emerged as the winner after defeating Mr. Momolu Russell, his challenger. Weah received 4 votes, while Russell attracted only a vote. The election, which was conducted by President-Elect Telee Brown, drew in the enthusiastic participation of six of the seven elected board officers.
