Noble Academy Breaks Ground to Expand Facility in Brooklyn Park

Noble Academy, a minority-led Public Charter School, held a groundbreaking event on Saturday September 27, 2008 in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. The event, which brought together an enthusiastic crowd of parents, teachers, and community leaders, was characterized by speeches, fun-filled activities for the kids, light refreshment, and the unveiling of a “Master Plan” to expand the capacity of the school to meet the growing needs of student in a rapidly growing minority communities in the Northwest suburbs of Hennepin County. “Last year we had 231 students…this year our numbers went up to 360, so we need enough space and that is why we decided to build another facility”, Neal Thao, the Executive Director and Principal of Noble Academy told The Liberian Journal.
