Atlantic City NJ 11/6/09: The United People’s Party
Progressive Action Committee (UPP-PACO) in the United States of Americas will
like to endorse the candidacy of Mr. Wilson Tarpeh as Junior Senator for Montserrado County in
the forthcoming senatorial election slated for November 10, 2009.
UPP-PACO having
carefully scrutinized all the candidates in the race, decided to support
Comrade Tarpeh because of his commitment to Liberia’s socio- economic
development. Comrade Wilson Tarpeh
successfully managed the agricultural Cooperative Development Bank (ACDB) known
as the Farmer’s Bank. During his tenure at the bank he was able to provide
loans for poor rural farmers for agricultural development. He also served as Finance Minister where he
helped manage Liberia fiscal policy. On the international scene Comrade Tarpeh
headed the African Development Bank (ADB) base in Abidjan, Cote d’ Ivoire where
he helped secure funding for Liberia’s development.
Considering all the experiences mentioned above, UPP-PACO has no doubt that Comrade Wilson
Tarpeh has the qualification to serve the people of Montserrado County as their
new Junior Senator. A vote for Comrade Tarpeh is a vote for youth’s
empowerment, reduction in crime in Montserrado County, Liberia and a sound
financial outlook within the legislative branch of government.
UPP-PACO members in the United States are calling on all residents of Montserrado County
to turn out in big number and vote for comrade Wilson Tarpeh for a change. Residents of Montserrado County should Vote
for a change that will improve their lives and put bread and butter on their
table for them and their kids.
In the Cause of the People, the struggle
continues!
