| Liberian Engineers in US Hold First Annual Convention…Appeal for Support By: Abdullah KiatambaThe newly-formed Association of Liberian Engineers, USA, Inc, affectionately called ALEUSA, has announced that it will hold its “First Annual Convention” in October of this year. The convention, reportedly scheduled to run from the 24th to the 26th of October 2008, in the State of Maryland, is expected to draw a crowd of more than 200 guests and participants, including delegates from Liberia and other parts of the world. Back in June of 2007, some Liberian engineers in the United States, aware of their increasing number and convinced that their collective efforts could positively impact Liberia, assembled at Mitchellville, Maryland, to give birth to what is now called ALEUSA, The Liberian Journal recently learned.
