How has the high cost of gas effect you and/or your business?

Have you had to alter your lifestyles any and what have you done to cut cost?

We carpool to work. Don't go as many places after work. Only use the SUV on the weekends.

No more driving our Toyata Sequoia into DC for work. It sits at the Metro garage now while I take the train into the city. We also bought a smaller car to save on gas.

It really bad when you have to pick gas over food : smile_sad . That is the case for me. I find myself cooking more and eating out less. I usually get what ever I want if I have a craving for it, now I think 2x…."do I REALLY need to eat that"…so it’s been bye bye to my little after work snack.

The positive side to all this is that I now have a whole new wardrobe th_cool ...because I can now fit all my tight stuff that I have refused to give away th_mrgreen

My job employed an insentive to it's employees for our work attendance. It actually started in January.

You get a $20 gift card for each month you have perfect attendance. Our choice are usually to WalMart/Sam's Club, Target and QuickTrip gas station.

You also get a $100.00 gift card for evey 3 months (quarterly) you have perfect attendance, plus the $20 for that month and a raffle ticket to be enter in the drawing for $1000.00 CASH at the end of the year.

I say every lay bit counts oh th_cool. I have made perfect attendance for the past 4 months and I got a raffle ticket. I pray that I win. : beg

Just guess where I've request my giftgards to come from smile_approve

I just won't get my $20 this month angry1 : smile_sad Sad
