The American government has been called upon to grant permanent residency to Liberians under the Temporary Protective Status to make them more productive in the United States in supporting their families as well as those in Liberia. The call was made by Attorney John Willshire Carrera, Clinical Supervisor at the Harvard University Legal Immigration Clinic at the Greater Boston Legal Services.
