| Prez Sirleaf Wants Liberian Senate To Respects Supreme Court Ruling By: Jimmey C. Fahngon (The Journal's Chief Correspondent)(Monrovia-Liberia-Sept 29, 08)- President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has told members of the Liberian Senate to respect the recent ruling of the Supreme Court which instructed the Senate to reinstate suspended President Pro-Tempore, Isaac Nyenabo, Assistant Presidential Press Secretary Charles Nelson discloses. Mr. Nelson told Executive Mansion reporters Monday that the President made the assertion Monday afternoon when she paid what he calls courtesy call to the Liberian Senate. Although President Johnson-Sirleaf told reporters at the Capitol Building, after her meeting with the senators, that she had gone there to brief them on her recent visit to the United Nations, but in contrast, Nelson said the President actually met with the senators to discuss the Supreme Court ruling. | Why Ma Ellen should expect people to honor the ruling of the Supreme Court when she hersef can't honor it? For example in the case Snow vs the House of Rep, she didn't enforce the decision of the Court because she was in favor of getting rid of Snow. She has set a bad precedent and it will hunt her...
