Brooklyn Park Police Department Reacts to Kennedy White Incident

The Brooklyn Park Police Department has reacted to recent news reports that its officers used excessive force to subdue Kennedy White, a Liberian who was allegedly manhandled at Blondie’s Sports Bar & Grill in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, on July 18, 2008. In an exclusive interview with The Liberian Journal, Capt. Craig Enevoldsen, Commander of the Patrol Division, said the recent report published in the Liberian Voice does not present an accurate picture of what happened and that Mr. White had actually taken a swing at the police officers, leading to a series of actions that resulted into the “unfortunate situation”. “They [The Liberian Voice} never interviewed us before publishing their story. We wished they had done so, to get our side or version of what really happened”, Enevoldsen said in a rather disappointing tone.

Why am I not surprised at this...most of these publications are so in a rush to post a story, that they don't do their background work....and end us bring us....E L DEY SAY.
