POSTING PICTURES

THERE IS 2 WAYS TO DO THIS.

1ST WAY (which is the easy)= All you have to do is click the icon that states "INSERT IMAGE" (see picture below -->

a little box will pop up (see picture below-->...all you have to do is insert the URL in it and click ok and the picture will show up in the thread.



This method will not work if you are using yahoo flicker account and you can't just copy and paste it in a thread from flicker either. Yahoo flicker has some photo protection this on it.....I happen to know how to get around it, but i'll keep it simple......so yor flicker people...ie POPE you have to upload you pictures....see info below

2ND WAY (it take less than a min to do this) so here is the step by step info.

#1. click on the icon that states "HOST A IMAGE" (See picture below -->


#2. a little box will pot up..it should already have your e-mail in it, just key in your same Village password.


#3. Another box will pop up...and we all have see it before...select Browse and upload your picture.


#4. Another box will pop up with the links to your pictures...copy the one that states "IMAGE" and post it in the thread.


The cool thing about this is that you can take these links and use it anyware on the web....you can send the Image url to someone in a e-mail....you can post the same Image link in any chat room...without having to have a photo storing account like flicker or photobucket...(the one I use and love )

For does of you that don't know. A picture does not just appear from coping and pasting. It has to have a hosting site for it to show up. This is why you can't copy a image from in a e-mail and paste it in a thread.
IT WON'T SHOW UP.....all you'll see is the red X box--->


#1-It you right click on ANY picture on the internet and go to PROPERTIES it'll tell you the picture info...example...I'll go to CNN and right click on the picture that is there




#2-WHEN I SELECT PROPERTIES a box till appear displaying the picture info




#3--->now if I wanted to post that picture in a thread in this chatroom...I would just copy the URL... come to the village..select the thread I wanted to post it in.....select "INSERT IMAGE" and paste the link there and the picture from CNN will appear in my thread.




or I could just copy the picture from CNN and paste it in here...but not all site will allow you to do this. Also if you link a photo this way...whenever CNN decide to delete the picture....it'll delete from in your thread as well.
