Looking for Accounting Manager, Based in Liberia
About the Organization
French based multinational organization that deals directly with providing customer vehicle solutions. This organization is a major global supplier of modified vehicles, with over 20,000 unites delivered to large and small volume clients over the last 3 years.
Position : Accounting Manager
Location : Liberia
Salary : approximately 3,300 USD / per month + housing assistance (Negotiable)
RESPONSIBILITIES :
•Provide overall direction and managing day-to-day accounting activities of the organization.
•Control and ensure that all accounting transactions systems and procedures comply with local regulations, accounting principles, standards and corporate guidelines.
•Manage funding requirements of the company through short term borrowing limits sanctioned by Head Quarter Treasury.
•Coordinate on annual budgeting and monthly forecast process, including collecting information from various departments involved in the budget process and ensure timely submission of budget and forecast to the Head Quarter as per the required timeline.
•Coordinate with the Group Consolidation & Methods Manager to develop and implement strong financial internal control process across the various functional areas of the company.
•Ensure all activities including financial analysis and reporting, taxation, credit control, accounts payable, accounts receivable, costing and inventory are completed accurately and on time.
EDUCATION:
•Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing and leading accounting and finance department with medium to large international company.
•Knowledge in international accounting standard (IFRS) and internal control over financial reporting (ICFR)
•Possesses analytical and logical thinking, proactive, independent and good team player.
•Strong leadership skills with fluent in English.
