In times like these, when the Liberian nation bleeds from deeply entrenched political differences, the path to national rebuilding becomes much more difficult. It is a government’s struggle for stability, the voices of victims of relatives of electoral violence cry for justice, a media caught between objectivity and bias, and international partners fatigue from repetitively chaos and need for more... aid. For many in the capital and the rural areas, it is a hopeless situation of decades of disappointment which questions the spirit of the “ sweet of land liberty” laid down in the sacred foundation of the nation.
