Have You Ever?

Have you ever felt like being in grade school again? Maybe, thinking about your first grade school sweet heart and you wish you could start it over. Tell us how did it happen?

I'll go first...

Mine was in the second grade. It was this mulato girl who use to show her taytay to me in class all the time. She would tell me, " Shoko look! Touch it!" Oh Lord!!! Everytime she did this, my whole brain was messed up. I'll get so distracted, at times I would even forget to do my classwork. But I was GREEN. After we grew older, I used to see her in the streets. I was so Gbelleh, that I could not put dreams into reality. But the memory is left with me. Now I wish She was around to tell me to touch it again. Lol!!!!

Mehn our past is our past and i think those were the best time for me. My own it was third grade and Shoko u know the person and she used to say i am her man and i used to be scare of John B hearing it. She was cool though and we ate her lunch together . I only used to see her on campus though.

You laffing? When I think about those days, It reminds of how green we were. I swah!!!!

Aye lawd those were the days I can still remember, passing notes in my big English book under the guise of letting her use it to study, and then she passing it back to me again, and one day my mom asking me about the lil wet patch in front of my trousers...gotta stop...

As grew older, passed to the 6th grade, one of my big brothers(Just a friend) approached one girl without telling me. She used to attend St Academy. I never told him that I was interested, neither did I tell him that he should do it for me. I met the girl coming from school one day, she called me, "Shoko!!! Please come. I want ask you suntin". I went to her and ask what was it. Mehn the girl said, "Da you tell Cheeseman da you wan for me to be your girlfriend?" Chay!!! I burst up in tears and started running to th house to report Cheeseman to my ma. Aye lord!!! I was really a YARHN O!

I can vividly remembered how those CWA, St. Patrick and T-High guys used to get all the girls. When u come from St. Mary dey kinda way dey can look at u sef. One chick came from Sinoe to reside in the Borough. All those guys from the Uptown High schools started approaching but the girl refused. This time it was in saigon. The girl told one my pekin hey i like that boy he seem to be quite and he can even speak to me sef. All i thought was that i had no chance but not knowing the chick was digging me. When i approached her she fell for it and this St. Mary Pekin was the man ya. Shoko at least our St. Mary had moral too when Wreh Wilson place us on the Mapppppp.

And the funny thing about it, those so-called big boys sshool you named had a lot of big gbelleh den. Some ugly guys from St. Patricks had those beautiful girls from Convents. I swah! I see why sumor our men den from th borough had to go St Pat.
