Liberians in Ohio Commend Prez Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf

Cleveland, Ohio, September 4, 2008-- The Liberian Association of Cleveland (LACE) has commended President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf for giving a special pre-recorded video message at the program marking Liberia’s 161st Independence Day Celebration in Cleveland, Ohio, on July 26, 2008, “President Sirleaf’s timely acceptance of our request to speak and the subsequent release of a remarkable video message specifically addressed to the Liberian Community in Cleveland is indicative of the president’s great leadership as well as her genuine concerns for all Liberians, including those in the Diaspora”, a release signed by Torbor Toe Wonakay, Secretary General of LACE, said.
