July 10, 2011



All roads lead to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as members the New Kru Town Association in the Americas (NEKTAA) gather in the city of brotherly love and sisterly affection to host their Annual Reunion Convention.



During the convention, which is slated to be held August 19-21, members of NEKTAA are expected to elect a new corps of officers who will spear head the affairs of the organization for the next two years.



Positions that will be contested for include president, vice president, general secretary, assistant general secretary, treasurer, financial secretary and chaplain.



NEKTAA's Executive Committee headed by Emmanuel N. Togba, currently in Liberia, has formulated all the necessary plans and massive preparation are underway for the successful hosting of the Reunion Convention.



Meanwhile, NEKTAA's vice president and acting president, Jackson T.S. Seton, is calling on all New Kru Townians and friends of New Kru Townians residing in the Americas to do everything they can to attend the Reunion Convention.



Mr. Seton is urging members and friends of NEKTAA to put aside their individual differences and work with the Executive Committee to make this year convention a resounding success. Mr. Seton noted that why it is true that individual members have different approaches to achieving NEKTAA's objectives, the primary concern of everyone should and must be the Borough of New Kru Town.



He added that now is the time for members of the organization to come together and galvanize their efforts and resources to help the people of New Kru Town. Mr. Seton further indicated that the Executive Committee has made tremendous gains during the last two years and all that is needed is to build on those gains to move NEKTAA to the next level.
