I just find some bitter irony in the fact that the U.S found Chuckie's U.S citizenship vaild enought to try and convict him (as he deserved) for
the like crimes that no other American has been tried for or convicted of.
But they won't consider extension of protective status or the changing the status one of a more permanent nature to the decent Liberians who have created families in the midst of their displacement and work hard to support them and pay taxes and live within the framework of good citizenship.
In good or bad situations, whether self-actuated or beyond their reasonable control, Liberians seem to in the Step-Child Syndrome.
