The Liberian Chief Executive, Mrs. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, has addressed corruption in a speech to the West African nation. Corruption remains one of the cardinal roadblocks to the attainment of socio-economic development in the war-recovering nation. President Sirleaf revealed: “Over the past few months, there have been numerous media reports and commentaries on corruption in public service, some constructive and others bordering on perception and the historic suspicion of those in government’s service.”
