Prez Sirleaf Makes New Appointments in Government

(Monrovia, Liberia, September 9, 2008): - Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, has made new appointments in Government, an Executive Mansion release said. Those appointed are--Mr. George Y. Miller, assistant Minister of Lands Survey and Cartography, Ministry of Lands, Mines & Energy; and Mr. George Wisner, Assistant Minister for Afro-Asian Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Others nominate, according to the release, include Mrs. Hawa Goll Kotchi, Commissioner, Governance Commission and Ms. Philomena B. Sayeh, Director-general, Center for National Documents and Records.
